Michelle Van Wagenen provides educational wellness services to ages 2 to 14 years old virtually and in person in the Los Angeles area. She works with students in a 1-on-1 setting.

Michelle Van Wagenen has a Master of Arts in Educational Therapy and a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education. After years of teaching Pre Kindergarten, she sought to further her education to understand the different ways each individual learns best. Educational wellness takes a therapeutic approach to accomplish academic goals, targeting each client as a whole. Michelle aims to help clients 2 to 14 years old understand why their brains work the way they do and how they can learn best while gaining confidence in their educational skills. They discover the tools to find success with her help along the way until the client can ultimately be confident without any assistance. Like a fitness regimen, educational therapy takes time and is most successful when practiced consistently. Frequency of appointments and the duration of the client/therapist partnership is scheduled on an individual basis. Michelle’s goal, however, is for the client to eventually be ready to continue life as an educational wellness graduate.

What is Educational Therapy?
